With the accretion of the "Preventive Surveillance" especially in the fight against Terror or the organised crime will "the presumed innocence as important legal protection rule stepwise hollowed" - quoted by Heise from an 400-seitigen Bericht of a from the EU-Commission promoted research project to surveillance societies. The presumption of innocence is the most significant regulation from the rule of law (Art. 20 and 28 German Grundgesetz ). It is a constituted foundation of modern democracies. Though not explicit established by law , ensures it off Article 6 Abs. 2 from European Convention on Human Rights (EMRK) and also Article 11 paragraph 1 off the Universal Declaration of Human Rights from the United Nations written 1948:

[Bearbeiten] Privacy of the people all over the world
Privacy of the people all over the world is suffering more and more outrages. We should not tolerate it. Cameras are everywhere even in our sky, and robots are used to gather and process information collected through Internet spying. If Governments and corporations reach their goal to use network surveillance technologies to take control, they will eliminate Freedom from both the real life and the Internet.
We think the problem of the surveillance of the citizens is a global one. Every new project or law will be made to work and be crossed with the other ones.
We often become aware of what we have when we lose it. We wish citizens have knowledge while there is still time !
We invite you to act against this surveillance.
[Bearbeiten] Europe: What is INDECT?
Since 2009 the project is running INDECT, which got funded by the European Union with 10,91 Mio. Euro. The expected total costs will be about 15 Mio. EURO.
The only purpose of this project: Invent the biggest and widespread surveillance program ever invented and installed
INDECT´s purpose is not only to observe the internet even people in public places will not outrun INDECT. Plan is to intermingle CCTV-Surveillancecameras and face recognition software to automatically recognize suspicious behavior.
Depending on preinstalled behavior patterns a suspicious person will be identified in the fraction of a second and further steps like tapping into communications, online search of forums and social networks of suspicious patterns even the surveillance with video drones will be initiated. Every citizen is a potential criminal and a suspect.
What is sounding like crazy Science Fiction, could become hard-to-believe reality in 2013. SciFi was yesterday. INDECT is tomorrow. INDECT is summarizing all data from forums, social networks (like Facebook) and search engines with official databases, communications data and camera surveillance. INDECT will know, where we are, what we are doing, why we doing it and what will be our next steps. INDECT will know our friends and know where they work. INDECT will judge if we act normal or abnormal.
End of 2013, end of this year is the planed end of the research project. INDECT will be ready to use.

Stopp-Indect.info is reporting: "Cause of multiple criticism a new level of security was taken into place not too long ago by the project management. What information is released to the public is decided by a INDECT-Ethics-committee consisting of 4 police officers, 2 researches in the field of security technologies, 1 professor in the subject of human-computer interactions, 1 represented of the content industry, 1 professor of law studies, 1 lawyer of human rights and 1 professor of ethics. An ethics-committee consisting in its majority of law enforcement and participants cannot be taken seriously."

INDECT will not be the only project interfering with freedom, constitutional rights and democracy.

The EU is working under the title Horizon 2020 on an arsenal of dubios projects (188 to be exact) which are restricting the privacy of the citizens, against whom they are targeted, and also implementing massive cut backs in freedom of information and constitutional rights.
Especially face recognition, extensive video surveillance, filtering and locking of internet content, RFID-technics and remote controlled surveillance drones are mentioned all the time.
It´s time to get active! Let´s get together, start to protest, inform others!
